Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs steady to 20.00
higher, except at Kalona, IA steady to 20.00 lower. Slaughter ewes mostly
steady to 5.00 lower. Feeder lambs very uneven. At San Angelo, TX
7,882 head sold in a two day sale. Equity Cooperative Auction sold 1750
replacement ewes and 250 slaughter ewes in Colorado, 1050 feeder lambs in
California and 500 feeder lambs in Montana. 2,950 lamb carcasses traded
with no trend due to confidentiality. All sheep sold per hundred weight
(CWT) unless specified.
